We bought this product for use during power outages during hurricanes in Florida . It is clean, easy to use, lightweight to move around and has enough power for our refrigerator, television, coffee pot and other low loads when we need them. We are using natural gas and bought the model with an electric start for ease of use.

First: The Generator - Absolutely perfect. Compact, quiet, and weight is 1/2 that of other 4500W generators I looked at. It is truly hand portable and fits easily into the trunk of my car. I Have thoroughly tested it and it meets specification of 3500W for gasoline and exceeds specs for Propane. It Will run propane continuously at 3200W, spec is 3100W. Also, it is very well built, and operates and starts easily. I am very pleased with this purchase. SECOND: The company--Erayak only has a small presence in the USA and don't look for a domestic phone number to call. However, there online support is really 24/7 and you will get a response within a few hours. I accidentally ordered a gasoline only generator (a layout issue with their online order form). As per their warranty, I returned it. I thought I would be charged about $100 for return shipping since it was my mistake. Instead, they immediately altered their web page to remove issue confused my ordering and refunded me the full price with no deduction for return shipping. Way to go Erayak!!! Five star product and five star company. By the way this is a genuine user response. They did a great job and deserve credit.

I purchased this for its fuel versatility. I've run my 4500PDE on propane and will test run on natural gas when I received the gas hose I've ordered. After set up the generator happily started right up using propane with the electric start. It's surprisingly light for a 4500 watt inverter but still considering ordering the wheel kit for the convenience. Also considering purchasing a second unit to parallel for 9000 watt output. I plugged in a 1200 watt heater to test surge and the generator adjusted quickly to the electric draw and ran consistently once achieved.
